Dancing on the Edge is het grootste podiumkunstenfestival met voorstellingen uit het Midden-Oosten ooit gehouden in Nederland. Van 29 november tot en met 13 december toont het festival meer dan zestig bijzondere dans- en theatervoorstellingen uit het Midden-Oosten.
Dancing on the Edge provides a platform for choreographers and theatre makers from Egypt, Palestine, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Israel, Morocco, Syria and Jordan to show what moves them. Many of the productions are created and performed by women. A fringe program offers after-performance talks, debates, films, music, food and meetings.
