DJ Kareem Raïhani started his career when he replaced Dimitri one night in the legendary discotheque Roxy in Amsterdam. Since then he played Lowlands, World Port Jazz, Dance Valley, Mistery Land, Park Pop and many ohter festivals, and he colloborated with heavy-weights in the business such as Francois K, Theo Parrish, Carl Graig en the Truby Troi.
International beats form the basis of his mixes and they are fused with soul, break, dub, techno, nu-jazz, tribal and, thanks to his Moroccan roots, world music. His aim is that special moment when “your body is dancing, you’ve forgotten time. your head flies away and the trance kicks in ….”
