Hans Sträter

Hans Sträter (The Netherlands) studied graphic design at the Academy of Art in the Dutch cities of Breda and Amsterdam. He fell in love with rebel clowning in 2005, when rebel clowns were part of colourful protests during the G8-summit in Scotland. After he returned to The Netherlands he initiated Rebelact, the Amsterdam Rebel Clowns.
In October 2012 he organised the first ‘Rebel Clown Army’ mission in Egypt, when Rebelact was invited to join the CIRCAÏRO Festival in Caïro. In that same year he participated in the ‘Training in the Streets’ program by Al Madina Center and Dancing on the Edge in Alexandria. He gave training and several presentations about rebel clowning and creative activism in the Netherlands, Germany, and Egypt.Sorry, deze tekst is allen beschikbaar in het Engels.
