Khouloud Yassine

Khouloud Yassine is a choreographer, dancer and actress. She graduated in Dramatic Arts at the Lebanese University, Faculty of Fine Arts (BA) and Performing Arts and Choreography at the University of Saint-Denis, Paris VIII (BA). Yassine is a founding member of the Lebanese contemporary dance company Maqamat Dance Theatre.

She performed in Beyrouth Jeune (2002), Guerre au Balcon (2003) and Mental Masturbation (2004), choreographed by Omar Rajeh. Since 2007, Khouloud has been working on solo dance performances with her brother, the percussionist Khaled Yassine. They have performed in Beirut and in Alexandria. In June 2009, she had the leading role in the film What’s going on? directed by Jocelyne Saab.
