Mohammed Diban

Mohammed Diban was born in Damascus, Syria. He grew up working with multiple dance groups and eventually settled with a group called Inana. He studied and graduated from the Higher Institution of Drama and Art (2005 – 2010) specialized in contemporary dance combined with some experience in classic and jazz style. He has toured with Inana and performed in multiple countries, including Russia, UAE , Turkey etc.

Mohammed had the privilege to learn from many professional choreographers such as Henrietta Horn from Germany and Christoph Divo from France. He has recently started a dancing company in Berlin called Harake. The group aims to create dance that combines the Eastern and Western culture. They performed their latest project Selsal in Berlin, and are currently working on their second performance called Hadra Hura.
