Ryan Djojokarso (Surinam, 1983) was educated by theater company DOX. After graduating from the Dance Academy, he worked with an extensive range of choreographers, including Sassan Saghar Yaghmai & Hildegard Draaijer, Itzik Galili, Liat Waysbort, Keren Levi, Ugo Dehaes, Itamar Serussi, Tabea Martin and Erik Kaiel.
Since 2012 he has been developing himself as a choreographer, making pieces in collaboration with theater director Bram Jansen. He has been nominated for a ‘Dutch Dance Festival Award Young Audience’ (2017).
