Taher Najib

Taher Najib is a Palestinian actor and playwright from Um el Fahem. He played  leading roles in several Palestinian theatre productions such as Medea, Damocles Sword, I Will Betray my Land, I am Jusuf and this is my brother, Azir Salem, Peer Gynt, In the Penal Colony among other. He has also starred in a number of films including The Olive Harvest, A Journey of the Prostitute and I Frank. 

He wrote In Spitting Distance, which won the first prize at the Theatronetto Festival in Tel Aviv and was subsequently translated, produced and performed in many major cities around the world as well as at the Dancing on the Edge Festival 2009.Taher Najib – A native of Um el Fahm, Taher played  leading roles in the Palestinian theatre productions: Medea, Damocles Sword,  I Will Betray my Land, I am Jusuf and this is my brother, Azir Salem, Peer Gynt In the Penal Colony and more.
