Theatre Day Productions

Since 1995, Theatre Day Productions (TDP) has made drama and theater in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank and Jerusalem with and for children and teenagers between 9 and 17 years old. TDP is both a drama training center and a theater playhouse. With a wonderful theater building in the center of the Gaza Strip, they train young adults in the profession of youth theater.

The work of TDP is community based. They listen to the kids, students, teachers and parents. The constant dialogue with the community results in plays and presentations that invite discussions, bring laughter and (sometimes) tears, and give the audience a revelatory cultural experience.

TDP believes that children are full of imagination and creativity. However, in their current social and political environment, they have no place to test or try out these qualities. TDP creates an opportunity for these children to explore their thoughts, fantasies, and hidden talents.
