Performance(s) between two shores عروض بين شاطئين is a European Commission supported program to commission and tour three new works created by Arab performance artists, who have been based in Europe for no longer than six years. The program aims to support the creation of dynamic new works, support the development of the artists in Europe and create new international audiences.

The selected artists and their teams will take part in a 30 days creative residency in one of the following institutions:
* November 2016 (with Dancing on the Edge, The Netherlands)
* February 2017 (with Globalize:Cologne International Platform for Dance & Theatre, Germany)
* March 2017 (with Les Bancs Publics, France)

All three productions will then tour the network of the project partners (listed below) between March and December 2017.

The project partners are: Les Bancs Publics (Marseille); BOZAR (Brussels); Dancing on the Edge (The Netherlands); Globalize:Cologne international platform for dance & theatre (Cologne); SEE Foundation/D-CAF Festival (Cairo), Shubbak Festival (London).


Who can apply?
Arab artists working in the fields of theater, dance and performative arts who have been living in Europe for a maximum of six years. We are particularly interested in artists who are creating participatory work with an aim of engaging under-represented audiences. We aim that at least one commission will take place in non-traditional theater venues.
