DOTE and De Balie present: Lana Nasser

In this new season, Dancing on the Edge and De Balie continue the program series One Woman Show. A series of solo performances by remarkable female artists from the Middle East and North Africa on the verge of theater and politics. This edition, Palestinian-Jordan performer and writer Lana Nasser takes the stage with Turaab. A performance about the lifespan of a woman from childhood to the grave, navigating the way through promised lands of gods and religions. With an after talk.

Previous One (Wo)Man Shows have been a lecture performance by Palestinian actor and playwright Taher Najib and Dutch actor Jacob Derwig performing White Rabbit, Red Rabbit by Iranian playwright Nassim Soleimanpour.
