Spotlight on: Above Zero

A multidisciplinary Syrian theater performance inspired by Brecht. – A large cast from a multitude of disciplines and backgrounds is searching for the answers to life’s questions in an age of war. The stories and poems of Bertold Brecht provided a starting point for the performance. Whilst reflecting on their own personal experiences, the performers seek to address, through dance, mime, rap, and theater the vicious circle in which violence creates fear and fear creates violence. Meet the director Osama Halal in this mini-docu.
