Feri de Gues, Noortje Bijvoets / Al Balad Theatre

Amman

Feri de Geus and Noortje Bijvoets of Le Grand Cru traveled to Amman to make a choreography commissioned by Dancing on the Edge.

Waiting Forbidden was made in collaboration with dancers of Palestinian origin from Palestine, Jordan and the Netherlands. Throughout the creative process, they had daily training (ballet and modern dance) provided for the dancers who took part in the project and to others who wanted to train with them.
Working with Noortje and Feri, the dancers got a more extensive insight into working with improvisation and creating a choreography. The piece was shown in Amman, Ramallah and in five Dutch cities.
