Scholarships 2017

Rand Taha, Sina Saberi

For the sixth time Dancing on the Edge offers scholarships to talented and motivated dancers from the Middle East and North Africa. This year, Rand Taha (Palestine) and Sina Saberi (Iran) have been selected for the Dancing on the Edge Scholarship Program. Taha and Saberi are invited to take part in the Amsterdam Summer Intensive Program, organized by the Henny Jurriëns Stichting. The dancers will also attend performances at Julidans Festival.

During three weeks the dancers will work intensively on their dance skills, by participating in technique classes and workshops given by  teachers representing the most important companies and styles in today’s contemporary dance world. At the end of each workshop week there will be informal open showings at HJS that can be attended free of charge:
