The School (The Room)

Theatre Day Productions

Youth theater performance from Gaza

The School is one of a series of plays by Theatre Day Productions about the loss of precious things in times of war and how people, by nature, manage to fill these losses. Two boys arrive at the place of the school, but there is no school building anymore. They decide to share their favorite subjects: poetry and history. Then a third boy arrives, exhausted, hungry, abused, and broken. He wants to finish school before his father puts him to work selling vegetables. The boy has to be saved and he will be. The School is suitable for all audiences aged 12 and above.

N.B. The School replaces The Room in our festival program due to unforeseen circumstances.
