Erik Kaiel, Hans Straeter / El Medina Performing and Digital Arts

This project was called Training in the Streets and provided training for both trainers and artists to work in public areas and increase interaction between the artists and the audience. The skills they learned helped them to connect better with people in the street and encouraged the audience to participate and enhance their awareness of citizenship and civil participation. Netherlands-based trainer Erik Kaiel from Arch8 gave a ‘Parkour in Open Air’ workshop. Hans Straeter from Amsterdam gave a ‘Rebel Clown Army’ workshop.
