Kaouther Mhalla

Kaouthar Mhalla is a Tunisian dancer and Architecture student. She started dancing at a young age atthe regional conservatory of Dance in Tunisia. She has participated in Tunisian Dance productions,including “Point noir” by Kais Boulaaresand “100 froid” by Houssem Edin Achouri, and has workedwith several artists like Wael Marghni, Malek Sebai, and Cyrine Douss. She has also danced at nationaland international festivals such as ACDA, Carthage Dance, Al Badil, and the “ربيع الجسد” festival. In 2021,Kaouthar received her professional training at Grand Valley State University in Michigan, where sheworked with numerous American choreographers, including Marlayna Locker, Hannah Seidel,Jonathan Upleger, and Thomas Vincent. Back in Tunisia, she continues to participate in local projectsand festivals along with her architecture and scenography studies, as she believes that both disciplinescan feed off each other.
