Emar Kharboutli

Emar Kharboutli is a Syrian dancer and performer who began learning ballet at The Ballet School in Damascus, Syria, in 2005 and graduated in 2012. In 2016, she enrolled in The Higher Institute Of Dramatic Arts (Dance Department) in Damascus. During her studies, she explored ballet, contemporary, modern, character dance, jazz, and acting skills. She graduated with a BA in 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic. In 2021, she also earned a BA in law.

Following her graduation in 2020, Emar had the opportunity to serve as an assistant teacher alongside her own instructors at the institute, teaching ballet, contemporary, and character dance. From 2018 to 2021, she taught ballet at the same Ballet School where she had studied as a child. At the end of 2021, she moved to Dubai, UAE, due to the unfortunate circumstances in Syria. In Dubai, she worked with various dance companies as a freelance dancer, performing contemporary, ballet, and traditional dance. She also served as a ballet teacher at Melodica Music and Dance Institute in Dubai and is now a ballet and gymnastics teacher at Prima Dance School.

Emar remains committed to her personal growth and development as an artist, continuously seeking to expand her knowledge and understanding of the transformative power of art. She actively seeks new opportunities to collaborate with artists from diverse cultural backgrounds and to continue learning and growing as an artist.
