Mona.A

Mona.A is a Tehran-based actress and playwright with an extensive background in theater. She is a member of the Bohemi Theatre Collective, with whom she has collaborated for over ten years. Mona has played leading roles in several of Amirreza Koohestani’s acclaimed productions, including Hearing and Summerless, with over 200 performances at theater festivals across Europe, Asia, and South America. She began her acting journey at the age of 17, later pursuing formal theater studies and graduating from the University of Tehran in 2016. Mona.A made her professional film debut in The Child and the Angel in 2008. Since then, she has appeared in films showcased at prestigious international festivals, including the Venice Film Festival and the Locarno Film Festival.
