Ali Moini was Born in Shiraz, Iran, in 1974. He is a singer, dancer, actor, and composer, currently living in France, who started creating solo performances in 2007. He made My Paradoxical Knives in 2009 and with it was subsequently invited to Tanzquartier Wien, Théatre National de Chaillot, Montpellier Danse Festival, Fondation Cartier, and other theaters and festivals. His other creations include My Paradoxical Insistence, My Paradoxical Life and It Shocks Me but not You and others. Moini also performed together with Mohamad Abbasi and Ehsan Hemat in the evening So You Think You Can Dance in Iran, coproduced by Movies that Matter, Korzo, and Dancing on the Edge in 2013.
