Hilda Moucharrafieh

Hilda Moucharrafieh is a Lebanese artist living and working in Amsterdam. She graduated from the MA Scenography at the University of the Arts Utrecht in 2016.
Moucharrafieh’s background is in design and scenography practices with a focus on collaborative ways of working. She works through performance and performative structures under the operating name The Narrative Collective. Her work often takes form as intimate conversations and experiences within performative installations, and investigates the influence of technology, history and biopolitics on movement in the public sphere. In 2018, she won the International Bursary Award for her project Tracing Erased Memories: A parallel walk of Amsterdam & Cairo.
