Iris Rubin is an award-winning documentary filmmaker.

Her film Hide and Seek won the Best Documentary Award at the 1998 Jerusalem Festival; The Nahala won the New Israeli Foundation Award and the Best Documentary Award at the 2004 Haifa Festival; Rakasa won of the Best Documentary Award at the 2005 Women’s Festival in Rehovot; Asmar received a Special Mention at the 2009 Haifa Film Festival and the 2010 Krakow Film Festival Poland.
