Joudi Al Ali

As a result of my interest in ballet since a young age, and with the encouragement of my parents, I joined
Ballet School in 2006, where I studied until 2015. I enrolled in the dance department of The Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, in Syria, in 2018. Now I am a fourth-year student in the institute.
I like to watch contemporary dance performances, as well as ballet dance. And I prefer the work of choreographers such as Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, and Pina Bausch.

Joudi is one of the receivers of the Dancing on the Edge Scholarships 2022.
