Lennert De Vroey

Lennert De Vroey (Antwerp, 1994) works as a writer, theatermaker, (voice-)actor and songwriter. In his work, he often takes on a documentary and research-driven approach to topics such as memory, nostalgia and history, and their visual signs in a landscape. Other interests are islands and the sea. He’s currently working on a theater piece about palm trees. In 2022/2023, his artistic research project Pondering/Theremin is running at the Antwerp Conservatory. He studied Drama/Word (Royal Conservatory, Antwerp) and International Politics (Ghent University).
