Nafiss Nia

Nafiss Nia is a Dutch-Iranian poet, writer, translator, producer and teacher of film and poetry. She studied directing at the Faculty of Film of the University of Art and Modern Persian Literature at the State University in Tehran. She studied scriptwriting at the Dutch Film and Television Academy. She regularly recites her poems at literary stages and gives poetry workshops. She also teaches scriptwriting for television for young filmmakers in conflict areas like Iraq, Afghanistan and Iran.
