Artistic residency at DOTE

For two weeks in November, the studio at Lindengracht (next to the office of Dancing on the Edge) is turned into a laboratory for DIY virtual reality. From 9 until 24 November, Dancing on the Edge hosts the first phase of Personal Empathy Machine’s artistic residency. A new performance by Amal Omran, Hatem Hadawe and Kathryn Hamilton, that will question the limits of empathy by using the ultimate empathy machine: virtual reality.

This project is part of the European cooperation program Performance(s) between two shores. After a second residency period in 2017, Personal Empathy Machine will tour the different festivals and venues of the European partners.
