Looking Back
Dancing on the Edge Festival 2015 is over. The artists left and we look back at an intense and wonderful period with beautiful encounters. We started the festival stating that it is more actual, timely, and urgent than ever before. That our histories and worlds are intertwined… After the events last week, the need for artistic dialogues are only becoming more and more urgent. So our mission continues.
For now, we would like to express our gratitude to all the artists, who shared their amazing and inspiring performances and other works with us, to all the volunteers for their hard work and dedication, to all of the visitors of the festival, and last but not least to our funders, sponsors, and partners without whom the festival could not have taken place. During the festival period new connections were made between artists and institutions of different countries. Plans are already in the making for new collaborations, performances and alliances both in Europe and the Middle East.
