First Performances Festival 2015 Announced

Three performances of artists, familiar to Dancing on the Edge, will have their world premiere at the 2015 edition. Khalid BenGhrib’s Black Table (Morocco) – inspired by Kurt Jooss’ famous political ballet The Green Table – is about the rise and appeal of the Islamic State. Plastic of Meher Debbich Awachri (Tunisia) is a physical theater piece about a generation of young men stuck between East and West, between expectations and reality.
Nassim Soleimanpour (Iran) created with White Rabbit, Red Rabbit a theater show without set, director or rehearsals. With Blank he takes his artistic experiment to the next level: an unfinished story to be finished live on stage as a collaborative effort of performer, audience, and playwright.

Dancing on the Edge Festival 2015 takes place from 4 to 13 November in Amsterdam, The Hague, Utrecht, and Rotterdam. More information about the festival program will be announced in August.
