Tuning In
Ever found your voice in someone else’s? Found your power in another body’s rhythm? Join this participative, process-led body & voice performance project in Amsterdam.
Tuning In will be created through a series of collaborative workshops with choreographer Shaymaa Shoukry & composer Ahmed Saleh.
workshops will take place from 7- 17 June, various locations, Amsterdam.
Moving from our core, and caried by Saleh’s immersive live composition, we’ll use our bodies and voices as tools of expression to ‘tune in’ to ourselves and each other.
try-out performance 7pm Thursday 15 June, De Hallen, Amsterdam.
performance 3pm Saturday 17 June, Krugerplein, Amsterdam.
An interplay between voice & body, weaving a web between people in an open invitation to the audience to join us. Celebrating togetherness in public space, connecting to each other core to core.
All bodies and abilities are welcome. No previous experience is necessary.
Language no problem. Workshops and performance are free.

Heb je ooit jouw stem (terug)gehoord in die van iemand anders? Jouw kracht gevoeld in het ritme van een ander lichaam? Doe mee aan dit participatieve, procesgerichte lichaam & stem voorstellingsproject in Amsterdam.
Tuning In wordt gecreëerd middels een serie van workshops met choreografe Shaymaa Shoukry en componist Ahmed Saleh.
workshops vinden plaats 7-17 juni, verschillende plekken, Amsterdam.
Bewegend vanuit ons centrum en gedragen door Saleh’s meeslepende live compositie, gebruiken we zowel lichaam als stem als expressiemiddel om in te tunen op onszelf én elkaar.

performance zaterdag 17 juni 15:00, Krugerplein, Amsterdam.
Een samenspel tussen stem & lichaam, dat het weefsel tussen ons versterkt met de open uitnodiging aan het publiek om mee te doen. We vieren het ‘samenzijn’ in de openbare ruimte, contact makend van kern tot kern.
Alle lichamen en stemmen zijn welkom. Er is geen ervaring nodig.
Taal is geen probleem. Workshops en performance zijn gratis.
