Scholarship Dancers Have Arrived

Three dancers chosen to receive scholarships from Dancing on the Edge have arrived! This year, Jol Alholo (Syria), Marihan Samy (Egypt), and Kiana Rezvani (Iran) will spend 3 weeks in the city in order to attend the Amsterdam Summer Intensive program organized by the Henny Jurriens Foundation. They will participate in  dance workshops and technique classes, and will be able to see performances of the Julidans Festival. Open Showings of the workshops will be held on the first 3 Fridays of July.
Since 2012, Dancing on the Edge has provided numerous scholarships for talented dancers from the Middle East and North Africa to attend this program.
