Nassim Soleimanpour’s Blank plays with new theater formats. His White Rabbit, Red Rabbit in 2011 was a theater performance without set, director or rehearsals. White Rabbit, Red Rabbit (premiered at Summerworks and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival) was a worldwide success. Amazing actors, amongst others, Jacob Derwig, Kevin Spacey, David Morse and Juliet Stevenson, have performed the play. With Blank he takes his artistic experiment to the next level: an unfinished story to be completed live on stage as a collaborative effort of performer, audience, and playwright.
