About Light Theory

Onur Karaoğlu | A Corner in The World

An imaginary conversation between director, a fictional character and the audience

Adapted from his play Light Theory, Onur Karaoglu presents a lecture performance with the performer Okan Urun. Conceived as a conversation between the director, a fictional character and the audience, this piece imagines the different ways one could write a play about forced departures. Made in a rapidly changing world. Inbetween image and poetry. How politics not only affects the nature of performance-making but intertwines with the personal lives of the individuals involved in the process to the point that it shapes their recent fits.
