Taoufiq Izzediou

The duality and conflict of the individualist West and the communal East and how that conflict plays itself off with in one individual is the subject of this piece.

It is choreographed and danced by the Moroccan/African/Arab artist Taoufiq Izeddiou and accompanied live by the well-known Gwana musician MaĆ¢lem Adil Amimi, with an arrangement by Guy Raynaud.

“A powerful and ambiguous dive into his intimate world.” – La Marseillaise, Marseille, France
