Dancing on the Edge Urgent artistic dialogues with the middle east

Taoufiq Izzediou

The duality and conflict of the individualist West and the communal East and how that conflict plays itself off with in one individual is the subject of this piece.

It is choreographed and danced by the Moroccan/African/Arab artist Taoufiq Izeddiou and accompanied live by the well-known Gwana musician Maâlem Adil Amimi, with an arrangement by Guy Raynaud.
