Does your body carry memories of birth or death?
The body is the place in Between Death & Birth. Listening to stories housed in our bodies through dance, storycircles, body mapping, writing and rewriting. Through collective research into how feelings/pain move between bodies.
The two main events, taking place in Cairo and Amsterdam, require your physical presence. The week is bookended by two online events, to which you are warmly welcomed to join (free registration) from anywhere in the world. Fed by artistic research labs in both Cairo and Amsterdam Between Death & Birth is also an experiment in how two cities can be in artistic resonance with each other.
