Exit Does Not Exit

Shaymaa Shoukry / Dancing on the Edge

The city, borders, the doors and the bridges… This piece questions the level of control individuals have in choosing which reality they live in and the degree of detachment from society’s structures that they can determine in their own lives – socially integrated, politically aware, caught up with or in political events, or remaining in  their own vivid dreams?
During the revolution, some answers were provided but the process, as expressed in the piece, is an ongoing quest.

Performed by: Mounir Saeed, Ezzat Ezzat, Samar Ezzat, Mireite Mechail, Aly Khamees, Emma Benany, Mahmoud Waly.
