Threatened with kidnap and facing escalating and horrific violence in their neighborhood, a Mandaean family from Baghdad comes to the difficult decision to leave their home after more than 30 years and live in Damascus. The film documents the family’s painful process of selling all their goods, dividing up their house so it can be rented out, their dangerous trip to the Syrian border and finally their arrival at a new, temporary home.
