On the Lips Snow

Ali Chahrour / Maqamat Dance Theatre

Using an intense physicality and an effective yet  simple stage design , Chahrour  deals in this piece with  the persistence of memory in people’s lives.
Despite efforts to suppress it, it imposes itself on both the mind and the body. Through On the Lips Snow Chahrour illustrates, sometimes whimsically, sometimes dramatically,  the battle with the past that humans deal with and how that results in a new reality.

Performed by: Maqamat Dance Theatre / Ali Chahrour, Emilie Thomas.
