Pieter de Ruiter, Eva Villenueva / Tanween and The High Institute for Dramatic Arts

The Syrian High Institute for Dramatic Arts is one of the few professional-level performing arts institutions in Syria. The coordinator of the workshop program for the dance division of that institution Mey Sefan, a guest at the 2007 Dancing on the Edge Festival, requested a workshop in composition, choreography and production for the students.

The choreographers and teachers De Ruiter and Villanueva of Dansity traveled to Damascus to give the workshop.
