Residencies Obscenitas

Khouloud Yassine, Shaymaa Shoukry, Noora Baker

The three female choreographers Yassine (Lebanon), Shoukry (Egypt) and Baker (Palestine) all visited The Netherlands, where they worked in the studio with the dancers of Dance Works Rotterdam/Andre Gingras. They had a free hand in making short pieces  reflecting on the subject of obscenity.
The result is the dance film/installation Obscenitas, filmed and edited by the French filmmaker Oona Spengler. Obscenitas is a concept developed by Andre Gingras and produced by Dance Works Rotterdam/Andre Gingras and Dancing on the Edge.
