During the Nassim el Raqs Contemporary Dance Festival, organized by Rézodanse in Alexandria, the Netherlands-based Portugese dance artist Rita Vilhena gave daily workshops.
The festival had a focus on location-specific performances. Vilhena, the founder and director of the Baila Louca Company in Rotterdam, specializes in improvisation and on-location dance.
