After two years of online dance programs, we are happy to share with you that the eleventh edition of the Dancing on the Edge Scholarship Program will take place again in Amsterdam. With the scholarships we offer young talent from West Asia (a.k.a. Middle East) and North Africa (WANA) the opportunity to attend HJS’ Amsterdam Summer Intensive, a three-week dance workshop program in July. We have been offering these scholarships since 2012, in collaboration with Henny Jurriëns Studio (HJS), a dance-training institute for professional level dancers in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Follow this page and our socials to keep yourself up-to-date about the developments of the three dancers which we have selected: Wajd Mansour, Nadine Nasr, and Joudi Al Ali.
During three weeks, the dancers will take dance classes (ballet, contemporary, Gaga, and more) and participate in different workshops (repertoire, creation). The program is an ideal opportunity for dancers to study in an international atmosphere together with other professionally oriented dancers. The Amsterdam Summer Intensive takes place from 11th till 29th of July.
