The three video installations of the festival will be discussed by the different artists, including Fassih Keiso (Syria), Moataz Nasr (Egypt) and Andre Gingras (The Netherlands). Nasr will show more work and give a lecture on how his work is related to life in the Middle East and the political and social developments.
This will open the floor to other artists and guest in a meeting organized in the framework of Revolutionary Bodies, an international multimedia research project with artists and organizations from Tunisia, Egypt, France, The Netherlands, Spain and Italy. This project explores the transformation processes in performance art with a focus on the body as an instrument of resistance.
