Hatem Hadawe

Hatem Hadawe is a writer and actor from Dair al Zour, currently living in Istanbul. His most recent play was The Endless Rehearsal, directed by Amal Omran. Recent performances include Welcome by Kathryn Hamilton, performed at Alt, Bomonti in Istanbul; The Maids, directed by Vahid Awad Zadeh, as part of Corner in the World Festival, Istanbul; and Say Yes Say No, directed by Amal Omran. He covered events in the city of Dair al Zour during the Syrian Revolution and communicated with many media outlets as well as preparing news reports for Channel Alourient and working as a photographer for the Der Ezzor Channel. Hadawe is also a student of Dervish dance.
