Rabii Brahim, a graduate of ISAD (Institut Supérieur d’Art Dramatique de Tunis), is a professional actor in theatre and cinema, singer, percussionist and dancer. He staged in several productions, including Mon corps est mon Pays by Hafiz Dhaou and Richard III by Jaafar Guesmi.
In 2014 he founded COLLECTIF CORPS CITOYEN, a multidisciplinary collective of artists, composed of young professionals in the field of theater and art. Currently, the group has two new projects: #Commons, a nomadic research device, which will be implemented in 5 cities in the North and South Mediterranean basin (Gabes, Marseille, Milan, Palermo, Berlin) and Kabinet Photographique Imaginaire, an imaginative studio that produces postcards from the ideal city, made for Utopian Nights Festival in August 2018.
Since 2016, Rabii Brahim has been living in Italy. He worked in the production of the Teatro Stabile dell’Umbria L’ora di ricevimento – Banlieu, Il Fidelio at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan and is currently an actor for the project MATERA CITTA’ APERTA, production by IAC – Matera Capitale della Cultura 2019. His latest work LORO – sono come tu mi vuoi is a semi-finalist for the Scenario 2019 award of Teatro alla Tosse di Genova.
