Combining the unique backgrounds of anthropologist and choreographer, Feri de Geus bridges cultures through dance. Since 1989, he has created around 70 evening-length performances and shorter pieces. He was the initiator of Coup d’ Amour, a successful collective of three choreographers.
Feri de Geus continued to work as an independent choreographer operating under the foundation Le Grand Cru in 1994. His Dutch oeuvre has been supported by the ministry of Education and Culture and many other art donors. It has been presented in many countries. Since 2000 his core artistic work has shifted towards intercultural performances with partners all over the world, both on ‘grassroots’ and professional levels.
