New online workshop series: RITUALS OF CHANGE

In the beginning of November, we are starting a new, three-week, participatory online workshop series called Rituals of Change. Curated by our director Natasja van ‘t Westende, participants can tune in to three workshops led by different artists who focus on ritual in their practice: ritual to reach back into the past, to mark where are we now, take stock, to draw the future towards us and imagine how to move forward.

In the first workshop with Fazle Shairmahomed, called Decolonizing Rituals, we dismantle oppressive mechanisms and connect to our ancestors through writing and moving ourselves. In the second workshop with Maureen de Jong, called The Good Stuff Doesn’t Sit Still, we will meditate on food, taste with our hands, and step by step make kimchi. In the final workshop by Arita Baaijens, called Sense of Place, we explore a new language and unearth the key landscapes which have shaped you to become who your are.
